WHAT YOU'RE PAYING FOR
So often now we don't hold photographs in our hands. They live on our phone or computer or even somewhere called the cloud. You've probably seen pictures of your grandparents or even great-grandparents because they weren't digital. Right now, you need to guarantee that future generations can glimpse moments of your life. That they will have something to hold on to, to wonder about, to imagine your feelings, perhaps even speculate about your challenges and triumphs. My grandmother left a binder of her poetry that's become a family treasure. Here is your opportunity to make your own treasured family heirloom.
Your photographer probably spent a lot of time with you before and during your celebration. In all likelihood she or he spent many times that number of hours making sure the images were exactly as they should be. And, up to this point there is still nothing to hold on to. All that time and it's still just pixels on a memory device. You've paid for time. So it is with building an album. You pay for a lot of time, about a week, for a physical product that's a relatively small part of the overall cost. And so it is with a movie poster or custom video. While I can control the cost of the standard photo cover album, the movie poster and the videos, the many choices you have for size and materials of other albums can vary greatly. That's why we'll be working together to create your dream album, a treasure that proudly tells your story for generations to come.

Very quickly, here's how it works.
We start the process with a phone conversation. If you're interested, you electronically send up to 6 pictures so that I can lay out a sample spread (two pages for an album) for your review. Then if you want to proceed you'll send me another 70 to 80 of your selected pictures for the album in the same manner. We can work together to get the right mix that will tell your story. At that time we can talk about any options such as type of cover, type and number of pages, etc. It takes me about a week to do the artwork and build custom pages. If you approve the layout, you'll pay your photographer and printing can begin. Your photographer will do a final inspection and then send it to you. A similar process, although simpler is followed for the "Movie Poster" and video.
